Chic-pea-flour and Dried-fruit Balls
PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME:

- Simmer until it becomes a thick syrup:
- 3/4 cup sugar;
- 1 cup water;
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg;
- 1/4 tsp powdered cloves;
- 1 cup mixed chopped dried fruit e.g.
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts e.g.
- almonds;
- cashews,
- pecans;
- grated coconut;
- Make Bundies - chick-pea-flour pearls:
- Mix until smooth and runny:
- 3/4 cup chick-pea-flour;
- 1/2 cup water;
- Push through holes in colander into 350° ghee;
- Fry and drain before becoming brown (4-6 mins);
- Combine bundies and syrup;
- Moisten hands and form into balls;
- Refrigerate.
