Baked Bananas with Creamed Sandesh
PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME: about 30 minutes
YIELD: enough for 4 to 6 persons
- Bray 1/2 cup sandesh with:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar;
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon;
- Saute 5 large ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthways in 4 tbsp ghee until lightly browned:
- Place on tray and spread half the sandesh mixture on 1/2 the bananas;
- Top with the remaining banana halves and spread with the rest of the sandesh mixture;
- Pour over 3 tablespoons heavy cream;
- Bake at 180°C/355°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown;
- Sprinkle with cinnamon;
- Serve immediately.
